Akshara began in 1993 as Buds & Blossoms Play School, with just over 20 children and three teachers. The ambition was never simply high scores. It was to help each child find an inner light, grow with values, and move at their own pace.

Our admissions process is structured, personal, and transparent. Kindergarten has no entrance examination.

To preserve instructional quality and student security, all campus visits are strictly by prior appointment. Unscheduled walk-ins will not be entertained.
Appointments are scheduled Monday through Saturday, between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM.

For Pre-KG (Vidyarambham), the child should be 2.5 to 3.5 years old. For LKG, 3.5 to 4.5 years, and for UKG, 4.5 to 5.5 years. If your child is slightly outside these brackets, please contact our admissions office for guidance.
No. Akshara Vidyaashram does NOT conduct entrance examinations for Pre-KG, LKG, or UKG. We believe young children should feel welcomed, not judged. Admission is based on an informal, warm conversation with parents and gentle observation of the child.
No. To maintain security, discipline, and the calm rhythm of our classes, all campus walks are conducted strictly by scheduled appointment. Please request an appointment via the form or WhatsApp prior to visiting.
Pre-KG runs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon to allow smooth separation and gentle rhythm. LKG and UKG operate from 8:45 AM to 2:30 PM, incorporating wholesome activity, outdoor farm play, reading, and guided rest.
